Military mother Shandrew Sproles went to a second-hand store called The Treasure Chest in Allen Texas, and ended up with an unexpected lost treasure.

She found what she thought to be the perfect frame for her son’s Army photo, only to find that the frame already had a photo in it, a photo of another soldier.

Now Sproles wishes to reunite the photo with its proper owners.

Her biggest fear? That the man in the picture may have already died.

“But if he has I know that this photo and frame would definitely bring the family comfort,” Sproles told CBS DFW reporter Ken Molestina.

The photo does not have any dates, names, or reference points. It does show a soldier wearing specialist rank and sitting in a vehicle with a 1st Armored Division “Old Ironsides” patch on the arm of his uniform.

It is her hope that someone will recognize the picture before she goes to the Army for help.
